There is one overriding principle that governs the use of this site:
Clients (Project Owners) and Service Providers must not directly contact each other unless via a Direct Contact Project.
All correspondence is to be conducted through the ContractsandServices.com website.
Once a project has been accepted, details of the Project Owner and the successful bidder will be made available to both parties. |

There are two types of users that use the online contract auction process:
- Clients who have projects
- Service Providers that provide a service
A client must specify the budget for the project, provide a detailed description of the project requirements and set a bidding and project delivery deadline. The project is then sent to the admin/compliance team to make sure that it complies with the project guidelines.
This normally takes less than 24 hrs and once complete we automatically alert all Service Providers to look at the project and bid for it. Its that simple! |
| |
Q |
How much does it cost to bid? |
| |
A |
We don’t charge a percentage of the project. We charge a flat nominal fee irrespective of project value. It doesn’t matter whether the budget is £100 or £1,000,000. |

A |
Once a project is posted this signifies the start of the auction process. We offer two types of auction. – Open and Closed. |
 |
Open - |
Service Providers can view each others bids. |
| |
Closed - |
Bids are only visible to the Project Owners. |
| |
|
These two auctions types encourage different types of bidding. Open bidding encourages highly competitive pricing. Closed or Blind bidding can also be very competitive but is designed to discourage sometimes inappropriate ‘price wars’. |
| |
Q |
What are International Bids/Quotes? |
| |
A |
This indicates to Service Provider that the Project Owner encourages international as well as domestic bids/quotes.
We recognise that in today’s global marketplace there are very few barriers to doing business across international borders. www.ContractsandServices.com is a unique online and global marketplace and we encourage (where appropriate) that projects are opened up to all Service Providers no matter where they are located in the world.
Please be aware that checking the ‘International Bids/Quotes’ box will not prevent bids/quotes coming from abroad – it serves only as an indication of your preference.
